Insurance......£100 more than the M3, coming in at £620.

Adding Jade (21, 2yrs driving) puts it up to £806......which is decent. Adding her on the M3 would have been £2k extra.

Going to say I need more for my car, thats if the man phones back. I can see this falling on its arse though, im away back to work on Wednesday so any deal would have to happen very soon.

The figures would need to be right for that to happen. There a good bit off at the moment.

September 09 would have taken in the 1st of the price increases, its got all the options except from Lux pack 2 (which I wouldnt want anyway) so probably around 29k.

Brand new one spec'd up on Fords website is £30,090.00

I'm going to presume this whole thread is a joke as no sane man would swap an M3 for a Focus.

Don't let Jambo read that, as he swapped his M3 for a Renault Clio..

Personnally, I wouldn't either. Nice comfy classy car, traded in for an Essex Bowyis dream ride, more spoilers and implants than Jordon.

Although they look quite nice in white, I wouldn't want one.

Jambon was economising though so I can see his reasons.

Its just a car ive wanted sinse they 1st released them chap's, for me its all about the experiences. Ive owned the M3 14 months now.....maybe its time for a change?

I fully expect me to have green RS for around a year then move on also, its not ike i'm considering something permanent

I had a good think last night & pretty much decided the px deal on offer is not right, so im going to wait until im back home in 2 weeks & stick my car on PH's for what I want for it, if it sells i'll lock onto & go to wherever I need to to get the best green RS I can for the best money. Theres plenty for sale up & down the country!!

This is now about getting the best deal for myself, if it doesnt sell for what I want for it then i'll just keep it a bit longer.

Man from the garage phoned back & said he can offer £15k px if that would tempt me.

Still a bit short.

Is it a brand new one or 2nd hand?

Just a bit of waste of cash if your buying a new car for only 1 year, only to sell it. I could understand with a 2nd hand car, or if your buying new and keeping it for a good few years, but brand new and sell within a year will loose you loads?

Would be far better off getting a low miler 2nd hand one?

Agree with Daimo if you go for this Colin its going to be a very expensive exercise just to own a Focus RS for a year and for that reason I would be out.

Its your money though fella

would you lose much/anything in a year on the frs tho? I wouldnt have thought so. Like you say, I'd stick yours on piston heads and go from there.
