25mpg??? Donnas making 27mpg in the astra, but then she does some motorway miles.
Astras, mind the gearbox
I prefer your Clio, less of them about, esp in that colour. Didn't take long though to get bored from the M3 to the Clio though eh

you will get between 30-35mpg normal driving ..... if you gun it you will get 23-26
Interior isnt too bad ... has the recaros which are amazing - who cares what the dash looks like?
Build quality is really not an issue on these - my clio is better screwed together than my cooper s was - they have really moved on a long way with the new generations of rensports .. I couldnt believe the difference in quality between the 182 and the 197. Not many problems to report on the renault forums.

Ditto.. I used to LOTHE all French cars but I actually think late Renaults are not that badly put together! Shame the residual values are still crap.

wont be too bad on a f1 meg with that many miles ... seems a great price ... probabley be able to get a good amount of that back if you move it on in a year or two

I'd be a little worried why the clutch has gone at 31k.
If you do go for it then get them to sort it out before you buy it.

clio will be far beta on fuel! i bought the clio 197 and fuel comsumption is annoying! so megane will prob be a bit worse again!
brothers 172 is pretty good on juice! brother drove 2.5hours each way to rockingham on monday, did track day and spend 75 on petrol!
i spent £80 on petrol in the van and that was only on track never mind the 5 hours driving on top, lol

Im not sure what they will say if i say the clutch is going and they say it isnt.
I swear it didnt feel right though. Maybe i should just avoid it all together

Or go find another one and drive it and see. If it's slipping then they can hardly turn around and say it's not going!
I really want one now you're talking about them

What's the differences? If the engine is the same then that's all you really are looking for.

I wouldn't buy that particular one. If the clutch is dodgy sounds like its been abused.

Amazing arent they!
I've driven the R26 F1 and its like a bloody AWD car! The stoppers are amazing too
Even my shitty 1.5dci feels like its on Rails.
They do handle well! Ive gave mine some hammer on the way home, sat in abit of traffic and cruised at the speed limit now and again, and i averaged 27 and was in tripple speed figures for the odd blast so i imgane people with heavy foots have been test driving them?
My best mate has a 07 vxr, and even he says the megane is all round better car!

Not nessecarily. Its been driven, that is certain. The car is immaculate, and i mean perfect. Not a scratch or mark on it. The brakes are good the tyres all have decent tread and no weird wear.
It could mean its been remapped, or they couldn't drive.
If i can get them to change it it wouldnt bother me.
