Lunch time

We were discussing our office move just now as the receptionist/administrator is staying here and the sustainability people will be in my team's place. She's not as excited about it as I am

That depends on if you're fussed about doing your sister by proxy.

We only have a 26", optimum screen for the room is 42" so we've been planning on upgrading for a while
Was going to go up to 1080p but if I can get 3D for that little I might have to

That little? It's over £800 How do you work out the optimum size? I have a 22" in my room, I reckon it's pretty much bang on If I had the money then I'd get another to use as my PC monitor as it's appeared on another website at £189.99.

Matthew L you beast I want to ride you like a pony.

Mike is coming, he's riding shotgun in my car.

Once again, he just doesn't know it

My new laptop doesn't have a VGA out so my current 19" monitor is going to be useless in amonth or so

A decent 42" is going to cost me at least £500. Not that much more
Optimum size IIRC is you should sit 3.5x the screen size away

So we sit about 145" away from the screen
145/3 = 41.5
