can you not just take a pair of cutters to the locked ones ? and then lock it back up when you go ?

The more I look at pictures of the hatch, the more it makes me think ive been to a few of them before, but just thought it was a drain of some sort

I would be tempted to cut the lock under darkness on the locked one and then go back and have a look


Crazy to think that in 1991 there were still people sitting under ground in all these places

Theres a proper walk in nuclear bunker used for top politicians in Nantwich. I went round with my Gran and Grandad. Its massive inside and the door is like 4 foot thick!

that was interesting regarding the bunker / outpost thing...

I wonder if i can find one near me, do it up, put a proper bed down there and use it as a rent free accomidation
