it got a quicker Evo track time that the Focus ST and mk5 Golf GTI.
It's no mk1 Focus RS, but it's not too bad.

I thought the S3 was alright, certainly capable just not massivly involving.
Is it possible to change the 4wd system so its more focused to the back of the car?

I've done 110 miles and i've used half a tank of fuel on my s2000. My own fault for putting silly bits, like j's ecu, exhaust systems etc on that drink the petrol, but still.
I prob get around 18mpg at the mo.

yeah you can get haldex controller which transfers more torque via the converter to the rear but think maxium is 40% (dont hold me to that)
Basically its a 2wd drive system with a torque converter
From standing and up to 15mph the front wheels are driven unless slip is detected - Then the torque converter is activated and drive is transferred to the rear wheels poportionally to the haldex controller calculations
I just found the handling to be very dangerous when you slightly lift off the throttle

Why not do it properly and get an economical little hatch or something? You're just going to end up with 2 expensive to run cars otherwise!

I don't think people even read what I put.
- Basically, next year I'm planning on getting a caterham style car as a fun / track car.
Therefore I don't need a 'Fun / track' daily driver (which imo my s2000 is and a tt is not). However, I still want a nice looking car, that is cheaper to run / insure than my current car... (which a tt is on both fronts).
I'm not saying I want to buy a shit box and save as much money as possible, or whatever else people are mis reading it as...
My plan is, sell the s2000 and get a tt to potter around in (boring car to drive imo).
Next year when spring / summer comes get a caterham style car with semi slicks and around 200 bhp.
As long as the tt returns more than 250 miles to a tank of petrol, then it's an extra brucey bonus.

This post concerns me with this haldex system
Do your bike cbt, say hello to 50mpg whatever.... Or just start using the bike more, and save the car for rainy days. Still only cost you £100 for the cbt instead of a new car.
