Rockness is much better.
They have good acts, already, and it's only going to get better.
I did notice an influx of neds this year though, just hoping it doesn;t go the same way as TITP

TITP was excellent again btw.
Pete Docherty is still rubbish, only people who went to see him were jakes and people who wanted to throw coins at him.

Wish I had got to this..
I watched Mumford and Sons' set on tv and thought they were awesome.
Florence and the machine sounded a bit ropey.. I assume they'd be better when you were there but her voice was dire at times.

Kasabian were brilliant, Eminem wasn't bad apart from turning up late because he wouldn't walk in the dirt with his new trainers, and he insisted on saying hello edinburg multiple times.
Jay-Z was a crowd pleaser as well.

I saw Eminem at the Milton Keynes Bowl and he kept saying 'hello Milton'

That gig was shit! IIRC we had saturday tickets, cyrus hill had technical issues with their mics which just left their percussionist banging his bongos for half and hour. And the wigga turned up about 4hrs late and kept saying "Hello London!"
Rockness looks decent although it's pretty expensive (compared to Glasto which was the same price) considering the number of acts and the size of the event

Brilliant weekend, my sides were actually killing me from laughing in the early hours of this morning.
Apart from the fact he didn't know where he was Eminem was absolutely brilliant, I don't even really like him or that type of music either. Looks like there is highlights on the T site as well which supposedly wasn't going to be the case according to The Sun

Had a good weekend, Jay-Z was my surprise act of the weekend! I thought he was brilliant! Delphic and 2 door cinema club are definitely two bands to be watched for the future aswell. I missed the Courteeners and watched the snivelling wee cunt from Paisley I liked his MGMT cover and thats about it. Prodigy were good as were faithless. Eminem was rubbish from what I seen of him. The View were brilliant, could easily headline a festival imo. Calvin Harris was class, despite losing sound a few times, King Tuts was jumping! And Kasabian were good, Im not a fan but they were decent live.
The campsite was good, apart from the group of bam birds we had next to us. I have never been so close to issuing a cunt punt. Annoying as fuck chants all through the night. Not quite as bad as "Coley" on our other side who constantly phoned his girl pals to tell them how he'd drunk 2 litres of Jaeger-monster and wasn't even that drunk, if you'd seen the nick of him he couldn't have handled two shots of jaeger! and if I ever hear anyone refer to strongbow as straaaaaang baaaaa again I will kill them. Other than that it was fabulous

Why he didn't just go to Glasto I'll never know
He'll tell you why when he's back, the campsite at T is the single greatest place on earth when it comes alive
The rain isn't far away according to a few folk up there already.
BOLLOCKS
the campsite was annoying and full of fannys tbh
We had some poor guy collapse and die on the friday night just along from our tent
The toilets were fucken minging.
people just fling all there shit at there arse
Then lots of annoying idiots generally doing my nut in.
Especially the fucken arsehole that was banging a drum or wheelie bin to you and me all through the night on sunday so much so that we left at 5 in the morning
Camping was not amazing!!!

Shouldn't go camping if you can't deal with that, it's the same every year, that's what makes it so good.
Toilets were stinking though, I only managed half a shit before I had to give up.

What a load of shite. The toilets at festivals are minging full stop and are you seriously blaming T for some random guy having a heart attack?
It was a festivval you were at not a library, the reason the campsite is so good is because you can get away with banging drums and singing til all hours. I think you'd be better suited to the poofs campsite up the road with clean toilets and alloted times for going to sleep.

You were probably one on the fannys to be honest
When did i blame T fot a guy dying of an asthma attack?
The toilets are minging at all festivals, yes but is there really any need to shit all over the toilet seats etc? do you do that in your own house?
maybe you do
And is it really that hard to stick your rubbish in a bin bag at your tent? not really is it?
It a MUSIC festival, i was there to enjoy the MUSIC
poofs capsite does sound good, can you give me more details and i will check it out

You stopped half way through.... Halted mid strain & thought fuckit I cant work under these conditions so just nipped it there & hung onto the rest til you got home. Thats pretty impressive
Ive never camped at T, one days enough for me, can get drunk & sober up again 2-3 times & take in a few bands thats fine, im not very hardcore!!

unfortunatly it was my mate that died on the friday night.
he took an asthma attack.
one of the most friendliest guys anyone could ever meet, he had an amazing job, and had just bought a porsche 911 carrera 4s at the beggining of the year.
me and all our mates are very shaken up by it.
i just hope that the funeral is before the weekend as i am flying to Marmaris on sunday morning
