Hmm...I don't think I could commute 4 hours each way every day though 
Whats scarier is where my parents live a decent 4 or 5 bed would cost about £500k, and a flat the same size as mine about £200k

I've always thought, if i won the lottery i'd buy a large amount of land, build good quality 1, 2, 3 and 4 bed homes and make a little community for first time buyers, cheap prices but have to be sold back to my company, would need to be a euromillions win (80million ish), but would set me, any kids and their kids up for life

For a nice 5 bed it's at least £300k
Theres currently an an 8 bed for less than £500k round here, has been for sale for ages as well so could probably be had cheap

Yeah the only reason I think it's so cheap is it's literally right next to the railway line but from living prety close to one in the past you tend not to even notice most of the time
