strick, get a husky, you wont regret it! they are the softest dogs going, great with kids ect just dont get one from working lines

Yep really low maintenance dogs, nice and reliable

I dont know much about dogs but from reading up a little on the internet they dont suffer many problems either throughout their life or at old age. Rescued our Nasher at 5years old from a local kennel and he is awesome, doesnt chew anything, you can annoy the shit out of him and he wont go for you, he's great on the lead and off it, as long as there isnt too many other dogs about.

Your Akita's pretty nice!

And Ben G you should definitely get one, me and my brother saw a guy with a 10 year old male Akita, and no joke it was the size of a shed, his mouth alone was wider than my brothers hand. It was one of the biggest dogs i've even seen, and so calm compared to other dogs

We went to town last weekend and seen a gorgeous British Bulldog! It was funny though admit was VERY well groomed and didn't have that mashed in face look
