Well i think that'll be sooner rather than later with more talk of RBS putting you into administration in the papers this morning again.

Shouldn't be doing so bad with the squad you have...

Wont be administration, the club is still a profit making company so all that will happen is they'll take over the running of the club (sort of an informal administration I guess) whilst they find a buyer who would only have to pay the amount to cover RBSs loans to buy the club.

Well it will still help you move towards getting a new owner, may even be a better route to go down if Hicks & Gillette are over valuing the club by as much as has been suggested

TBH its one of only two options now imo.

Either they get funding to keep hold of the club, or come October (some say 6th, others 12th) the loans are due back to RBS and they take ownership and sell the club to cover the loan amounts.

No buyer is going to come in before that date and pay more when they know they can get it a lot cheaper in a few weeks.

I'm guessing that's going to end in huge losses for Gillette and Hicks when the club is sold from under them by RBS then?

Because i don't see them raising the funds to keep hold of the club. not that anyone at the club wants to see them retain ownership by the looks of it, I think even Gerrard was talking of the need for new ownership not long back

We both know a fire sale wouldn't recoup even nearly as much money as a sale as a going concern.
