Only time I ever get other drivers give me a wave or thumbs up is when coming back from shows. Usually just get abuse lol

I love it when i get chance to wave at some one with another beetle or campervan. rarely happens thou. but i constantly get thumbs up and compliments when i drive around.
always get stopped by people in car parks wanting to talk about it. usually when im in a FUCKING rush!
hate it when kids shout herbie at me thou! . . .my beetles bright frikkin orange!

Never had this. But never seen another FD just out and about.

Had some MR2 owners flash their headlights though, seems that owning a car with popup headlights means you're somehow akin to each other.

i had some 18 yr old chav wave at me when i was in my standard Nova

I regularly ave at other MkI MX5s and often get a wave back, see a regular blonde girl in a red one every morning we wave at each other

When I had the 106 Rallye it was common for em' to do it, I obviously wasnt cool enuf to pull it off so I never done it.
