I'm glad you told me that, because I hadn't picked that emotion up from any of your posts as yet.

I am ready to fight someone unless we get Benzema and Kaka in a swap deal plus £20m

Take out Kaka and Benzema and you might have something close to the price you will get.

Will be interesting to see A) who coems in for him, and B) for how much. All well and good he wants to leave, but he needs a buyer first.

This is going to be a defining point for us now. Will prove if we have as much money as they say we have to spend on transfers as there is no way we can let a player like him go without bringing in at least one proven class player.

Just reading another forum, and somebody on there said it's very convenient how after posting big losses your biggest asset 'wants to leave'. The guy basically said it was more like United wanting to cash in whilst they still can. Interesting.

I recon the fee will be around £25m if in Jan or £20m in the summer.

Real Madrid - Dont really need him but Mouriniho might fancy taking him on and relinking the Ronaldo/Rooney partnership up

Barca - Dont need him

Man City - Will probably make an offer but can see United selling to them

Liverpool - Cant see him wanting to play in the Championship

I'm sorry Jonny but are you trying to offend me? £25m or £20m? £100m+ if City want him, £40m+ for anyone else

He said he wants to leave, which basically means clubs can take the piss now and anyway based on current form, even that is generous. What can the club do? Reject £25m in the summer and keep a disgruntled player on the books for another season, then let him go for free at the end of next with no money from that to go toward buying a proven replacement?

You'd have to weigh up other factors

£20m lump sum

against shirt sales, merchandise sales, other revnue he generates.

also they are more likely to win "stuff" with him, and winning "stuff" makes money, if they are confident of the FA Cup and Carling cup with him and all these factors equal more than £20m (they probably do) then they would keep him and let him walk.

£80m was a bargain for Ronaldo, his shirt sales paid for that a long time ago

Real Madrid will pay more than £25m for him. There will be a bidding war for him
