Got home from work at half 5 and there was barely anything, went to go to the farm an hour ago and there was about 2 inches on the car, cleared it, started heading off, got right out to the main road, turned at the lights and ended up drifting with no throttle input at all, just 2nd gear idling After 5 minutes I got maybe a mile up the road and to a hill which I would've been fine getting down but there was already people out of their houses pushing cars back up so decided not to bother with the further 10 ish miles and came back home. There wasn't a cat in hells chance of getting up the drive then when I got out of the car there was another 2 inch of snow on it after me completely clearing it 10 mins previous

About time it got a bit more challenging, I'll try for the farm again tomorrow, I wanna start on my car

I was sideways on a straight bit of road when I was driving back then, as soon my foot touched the accelerator it was off like a happy dog wagging its tail

RWD is definitely better in the snow, not for practical purposes tho, although saying that it's not properly been put to the test yet, it's coped pretty well with what it has faced upto now tho.

Disagree that RWD is good in snow, walked home from town before because buses and taxis were off and I lost count of how many RWD cars were generally blocking the road / spinning out / crashing in to kerbs.

Perhaps that's the owners, mostly BMW/Merc but they did look to be having a tougher time of it that anyone else.

I did say not from a practicality viewpoint, the MR2 hasn't proved to be as good as the Corsa was upto now, I've never not been able to park the Corsa on the drive but the MR2 has failed twice recently, but then on the other hand, slow motion drifting over Saints where there wasn't a single car and a nice bit of open space was much better than what the Corsa could manage

People piss in swimming pools, therefore swimming pools are bad and should be banned.

Snow doesnt cause any problems, its the pricks who forget how to drive when it falls that cause the grief!
