Hmmm I am tempted to be honest.
Would have to be an awesome handler out of the box though.
May test drive one.

Lol thats the dream. So far my savings stand at 550... Ctrs fault tbh, insurance ect isnt cheap when your only taking 800 home a month. Selling the car would obv be a big boost but its looking more like a deposit is on cards. Gf twists and moans at potential cars

so you are selling the CTR because you are not in love with it as you put it, so why dont you go out and test drive some cars and find one you "fall in love with" and then buy one of them
you dont know that any of the cars mentioned in this thread might be worse then your CTR

You can pick up MPS's for about 7k with a bit of mileage, so depressing

I had a few as company cars, both the 198 and 231. Fuel consuption wasn't great but I had fuel benefit. I personally think too much is made of the oil consumption, I didn't have to top them up that regularly.

The MPS's are higher tax though, and thirsty. But if that doesn't bother you then it's an excellent and understated car. Comfy as fuck too and a nice interior.

RX8s are great cars, only thing shite about them is the lack of performance.
I drove my mum's 197, was a sat nav model in black with the red and black leather. Brilliant place to be, the dials are lovely as well. I took this when I was moving it away from the garage:

Surely the 230 would be better

Aye obviously, can't say anything about them having not ever driven one though. The 197's a wee bit slower than an XE Corsa.
The only ever time I drove it a few miles up the road (wasn't insured so kept it to the dually and backroads) an F430 pulled off the roundabout in front of me, so I planted my right foot only for the back end to step out a bit When it got going it felt like it 'wanted' to go faster - I'd love to try a 231 and would seriously consider buying one at some point.
