I put about £30 but I don't use it for work, so no point filling it up unless I need to pick parts up.

How on earth would the amount of fuel you put in affect how much the car uses?

Extra weight perhaps, offset by needing to go there. I would guess it makes no difference at all.

the fuel picks up from the bottom of the tank anyway so if theres any shit it will get sucked up anytime not just when its running low

i put a tenner a week in mine, getts me to work and back and to the shops

On van fuel light comes on, i wait until the pump clicks and then carry on filling to the nearest pound.

Punto and Corsa, if going on a decent run such as Wales for a few days again fill to the top. Usually just £20 in as i don't use that much and not point leaving a full tank of fuel in there for months at a time.

If you're with walking distance of work, how could you amass that amount of miles? Yeah obviously using it to drive outwith your working hours but, going by how much you have now, how could you go from 1000 miles a month to 250?

What about in the Impreza and CTR?

I use about £25 per week for work alone. Work on average 4 days, with a 20 mile round trip. That's the fucker empty

£10 minimum £20 max, unless I'm going on long journeys.

I only use car for pleasure, get to tempted to drive it more when loads in there.

Quite like nosing around petrol stations anyway
