Wrong tbh.
Corsas are bad handing cars. Fact.

It'll probably compare unfavourably to the Puma or 206 but they have a slightly bigger budget.

You've never see or been in my old one.
Possibly one of a handful That I know of/have seen/been in that COULD handle.
Steve stick to power coating.

I personally wouldn't bother with a 'C' Ian. I would go for a 'D'.
The 'C' is to similar to the 'B' mechanical terms. The 'D' is different and not quite so many seen on a track.

Not at all.
Throw a grands worth of chassis mods at it and yeah, it'll do well. I was commenting on a standard one/one with 'a set of coilovers chucked on'

Mine did have uprated shocks , springs bushes and roll bars. Nothing expensive. Just uprated in the right places. About less then half a grand.
Thats all they need. They dont need any of this expensive malarky.
Its a shame Vauxhall never fitted some better parts for them from the factory really.

Same mods thrown at a 106 would handle better

I've driven a few 106s and I really don't like them.
Certainly not impressed enough to immediately trounce any other car listed.

Just my opinion from driving both.
Comparing it to a corsa B though. C uses a 'proper' wishbone so is prob better than a B with its waggly lower arms

Scrap price is about 150-170 if it has the cat removed and weighed separately and if you deliver it.
Picked up intact probably 50-100 quid.
And I'm coming from miles away. So not much at all. The only thing that would offset that is if there are valuable parts I don't need. I'm not ruling out giving her more money but I need to end up with a rolling shell back in Liverpool for about 200 quid.
