Thanks for coming.

M14 is a rifle with an fire selector switch for automatic and semi automatic fire. Later models have the selector switch stuck on semi auto as on fully it becomes far too much of a handful to be useful.

Thanks.

http://rainbowsix.wikia.com/wiki/M14_Assault_Rifle

The M14 is an assault rifle. Having used one on fully auto, it is far from a handful, especially compared back to back with an AK47. (In fact the bleeding heart squad should really stop moaning about children in africa having AKs, if they had M14s or H+Ks there would be a lot more of them dying tbh)

M14 isn't an assualt rifle you spastic. It's a rifle end of story and WTF are you doing showing me something with a link to Rainbox Six?

So ok, you claim it not to be a handful on fully auto? So you tell me why they locked out the fully auto mode on them? Ammunition consumption was one, but also raw recruits in the field would end up shooting the sky in firefights.

And what H+K's are you refering to? They make lots of weapons you bafoon.

I'll think you find a lot of G3's ended up in Africa so I have no idea what on Earth you are rambling on about.

I would rather lose by a mile because i built my own car, than win by an inch because someone else built it for me.

Wow, that touched a nerve

My humblest apologies for offending your fragile disposition with such links.

Fair play, wrong terminology, its not classified as an assault rifle.

MP5 was the variant I was referring to. Out of the 3, its by far the easiest to control in full auto bursts, M14 less so, AK pretty fucking wild with anything over a 3 shot burst taking out Care Bears.

When did they chanage the design to lock out full auto? Now curious how old the gun was.

BTW, its "buffoon"

Looks good m8. TSR next imo. I've sat in the one at Cosford when I was based there. That and the Vulcan. They both smell amazing inside. Fact.
