I couldn't quite understand how Barnes claimed to have little money/be on a shit wage yet he has an as good as 500bhp Corsa and a Vectra Gsi daily driver.

I would put that down to attention seeking.

He is a driver or stores man at a tyre place wasnt he? cant imagine that being much above min wage. He couldve bought the bits for the corsa over time. Vec gsis arent expensive cars and arent that bad to run. You dont have to be a millionaire to own a corsa let and a vec gsi, he seems capable and probably did a lot of work on the corsa himself...

Can see where your coming from but i dont believe you can run both those cars on a minimum wage.And have a highly modified Corsa turbo.The parts alone for the Corsa wouldn't have been cheap even buying bit by bit.You would need to have a decent wage coming in which he claimed he didnt.

I like to think i earn more than minimum wage and even if i was still living at home with parents,i know i couldn't afford to do what he does to both cars.

hiding other incomes?

i ran a ctr on minimum wage and thats whilst paying board, insurance, loan ect... i even modded it and had work done. believe me its very posible. i could go get a 8k loan, buy a corsa let (couldve got suttons for 7k) and a vec gsi (1000) and still have plenty of cash. all boils down to what you waste your money on
