That price for your VFR is good. Mine was more than that at 17. My CBR400 was about £450.

I was pleased with it. Considering I was looking at a 106 Quicksilver and was looking at 2k insurance, it was a no brainer really to get a bike.

Corsa B 1.2 16v @ 17 - £1800 I think, FC (Virgin Money)
Ibiza 1.9TDi Sport 1NCB @ 18 - £1200, binned that then (Norwich Union)
Clio 1.5dci 0NCB, 1 fault accident @ 18 - £1600 (Bell)
Ibiza 1.9TDi Sport (no2) 1NCB @ 19- £1071 (Bell)
2nd year on Ibiza 2NCB @ 20 - £600 (Admiral)
Mito 3NCB, still got the accident @ 21- £460 (IAM Surety)

MX5 is about £580 FC, 0NCB @ 21 with Admiral. Went with them so I could mod if I wanted to

19 - C2 VTS - £900 own policy, then £800 and just been quoted £640 @ 21

Corsa B 1.0 12v 0 years ncb, 1 fault accident tpft £2500 :-/

Before that was mk2 metro 1.0 tpft 0 years ncb £2400

Apparently so bad due to having a L40 postcode and a flood risk area and high crime rate, i wouldnt mind but im about 6/7 miles from the sea about 2 miles from ANY ammenaties (sp) on a quiet road.

WTF! :-(

28 1.8 vectra c im not sure but im paying £114 a month because its cheaper than canceling my policy
