A cammed gti will make a lot more than 130bhp. 155-160bhp is the norm for one with aftermarket cams.

Cammed GTI will be about 150bhp.

id agree with this fine young gentalman, mine with full system, manifold, induction etc was making 146bhp at AMD essex dyno. i have seen camed GTis running between 155 and 160bhp

If they make 160bhp then how come my standard 150bhp corsa xe beat a cammed VTS and eats standard GTI/VTS for something to do? :S

I had a VTS, it never surprised anyone, my Nova XE did though

Edit: I've also been in a cammed VTS, making 157bhp, felt really slow too

I had a GTI, it suprised people.

A friend raced a 155bhp redtop in his standard VTS and the Corsa only just pulled away.

For the love of fuck why has this question been asked again It has been covered god knows how many times. An XE will only start to pull away from a healthy GTi/VTS when you near three figures. Manifold, decat system and raceland induction kit will see about 140bhp then it will gain the advantage over an XE.
