i do actually genuinely believe you are a better driver after taking coke or LSD or amphetamines, improves your stopping distances and reaction speed

When I drove on acid & mushrooms I was in a private estate (where my mate lives) and we were literally at cruising speed.
It was more of an experiment than anything else. I'd never drive on a public road whilst like that.

Imagine getting pulled over when you're tripping balls. It'd be impossible to act normal lol.

Are you serious?

You can generally have two pints and blow under the limit, depends how you feel yourself though.

I used to drink quite a bit and drive home most weekends back in the day when I was young and niave. Inevitably I got caught and its the best thing that even happend to me, made me realise how selfish I was being and put things into a different perspective.

Since then i've hardly touched any alcahol in the past few years, just doesn't interest me, especially now i'm so committed to being healthy, attending the gym most nights and eating a set diet. Actually feels good not having a hangover after night out and reading everybodys 'my head hurts' status' on FB.

I'll have a bottle and drive but normally don't bother.

If theres a chance I could be getting a few drinks down me i'll just get a lift.

Anyone who thinks you drive better on a substance as it makes you more aware is clearly still taking drugs, its only when you stop you realise its bollocks, you just tell yourself it to make yourself feel better

Yeah, you can buy various forms of LSD to improve handling.

What happened mate?

Had 4 cans over about 8 hours, got pulled for random check because I was driving into town to pick up a mate. After we'd gone through all insurance/tax/mot stuff he asked if I'd had a drink, without thinking i just said yes so he breathalised me and I was just over

Isnt it wierd. My mate went camping, had 4 pint cans of stella. The coppers come and said you need to get off the site (for reasons i dont know), and said he wanted to drive....bla bla. He blew 26
