Most of them seem to do free intros from their adverts. But pretty sure quite a lot let you sign up etc free but if you want to be able to email people back you have to pay.

Do it. There's so many hot women on the sites in the same position where it's hard to get out and meet someone decent. You do get all the munters trying their luck though

I've used them in the past and met a few nice women. The only thing I don't like is creating a profile and writing stuff about myself

That and the fact it's free to browse, but you'll have to pay to send/ receive messages.

No one should need a dating site, but it's a more convenient way of meeting people than on a night out when you're pissed up etc. The chances of ending up with a decent girl you've met in a club are quite slim from my experience as all they are looking for is to get pissed, have a boogie and perhaps a drunken fumble. At least with the dating sites people are looking for the same thing as Jake

As for copying profiles, be careful you don't copy someone's and then get caught out if you actually meet someone
