I'm on the Club Admin team on there, and I completely forgot we now have VX Trade Club, I'm so used to us not having it - could have gotten my 5l of Oil even cheaper at VX yesterday!

Unfortunately, Halfords stopped the scheme with us - no choice of our own!

I phoned them up this morning and managed to convince some lady to accept my hnc in vehicle operations management and proof of id. She wanted an old payslip and invoices/receipts but i forgot i chucked them out. Silly me.

Some photoshopping tomorrow will be required.

Make up a company logo and address, stick it at the top of a page and say it's your own company. Like the kind of layout a letter from the bank has

Ofcourse you can! Make up a company name and logo and whack the address in as some commercial estate..

They arent going to go round there with the address police and check.

you also dont get any of the promo offers... like the 3 for 2 and buy one get one free.. as they are for the public only.. if you wanted the offers you have to buy the parts with a trade card... then purchase the rest on a separate transaction.. but it does come in useful..

I went down with a payslip from my work (apprentice fitter), said I worked in the on site garage as a mechanic and they put it through for me. People who worked in the offices of that place even used to get the same payslips, it's very do-able to blag one. You've obviously just come across a complete jobsworth

I went in with my payslip a few years back for mine. Didn't even work in the trade, but it didn't matter as they never asked for it, just gave me a card

Nothing that would work.

But i will say im a Mechanic at my Work.Tell them i don't have invoices as ive just started with them few months back.Got payslips.

Al say that they took the vans to Ford to get sorted, but recently took me on to save money, hence the reason for a trade card.
