i like cooking & baking, but i couldnt be a chef, far too much stress, like doing stuff at my own pace.

made a victoria snadwich cupcake today after reading this thread.

Sponge with jam in the middle & buttercream on top, decorated with strawberries.

Looks ok i think

Yeah bein a chef is really stressful, shit hours n shit pay .. but food is just great!

So my sis had a party and asked me to do something special. I thought about doing the victoria sandwich with red white and blue icing.

Nahhh, went all out and im dead chuffed with the end result. Ended up making a choc cake with caramel bits, gooey caramel centre.

It was pretty tasty!

Dead chuffed with it, though i may tweek the ingredients a bit next time, could do with a few shots of coffee i think.

I used the spare mixture to make six cupcakes

Mocha choca caramel, i like it!

As you can see by pics it took 5 bags of smarties to get enough red & blues! Got lots of smarties now though!

Might make corned beef pie for tea
