I loved that blue when I first saw it 2001/02 but now I hate it.

I want to race Ojc and Rich H.
Jades is an R53. Looks proper smart for a convertible.

I don't normally like that colour but that car looks really nice.
Only thing I would be concerned about is the fact that the photo's are very pixelated like it's been copied from another ad somewhere. Scam?

They made the convertibles in that shape for a couple more years after they brought out the R56 cos they didn't bring the convertible version of the newer one out straight away

I wouldn't have said that a standard Cooper S would keep up with a standard CTR.
And I thought you weren't touching the Mini ojc?

Yeh mine has standard jcw upgrade - because the GRS is larger, you have to remove the intercooler cover.
Mine has uprated pulley (11% reduced), modified head, larger injectors, different map, different exhaust and I believe a slightly different supercharger. I've also fitted the Dave-F airbox.
I had it rolling roaded last year with just the Dave-F on it (no I/C) and got 203bhp, it was getting too hot though (they were spraying water directly into the bonnet scoop ) so need to see what it's running now with the intercooler on - should be up to 210 - 215 apparently. Certainly feels a lot more responsive.

my astra diesel beat a mini s quite easy, guess standard
my mates one with pullies and airbox had the egde on it though...
when you say to hot rich? you mean the intake temps? unusual for a rr to measure them on a RR day tbh

Cooper S arent that fast standard but witht e mods make them a quick car

Was talking to a bloke about an R53 with BBR (He said BBS, I assume he means BBR, wasn't the owner) kit running 275hp. Was going obscenely cheap. Sorely tempted.
