It used to happen round here a lot mate, honestly. As soon as someone new opened up no matter how good their work was the others would start rumours.

Happens around my area as well and ive seen their work on skin and tbh i dont know how they manage to get licences, hence why i do a 70-80 mile round trip to where i get mine done. Places ive still to hear bad reviews about.

because his back is triangular
Yes he has a V Taper instead of straight up and down like you skinny cunts
I get that but the photo accentuates the angles; I just think you can't tell everything from that one pic - if you follow the lines, He'd have no waist at all

It looks out to me, and doesn't looks symmetrical at all. Some of the lines are completely different to the opposite side. I was under the impression a tattooist would draw one side then mirror it exactly for the other side before he puts the stencil on? that tattoo just looks completely free hand and quite amateur.
I know this place is no where near you but if you asked for their opinion I'm sure they would give it to you. These guys really are amazing.

After a closer second look that is absolutely fucking awfull some of the worst bits for me were these;
No symmetry what so ever, at some points the lines actually overlap in to no where. I'm no expert on tattoos but that is one rough job pal, I'd be complaining and going else where for it to be rectified. There isn't anything identical, on a tattoo like that I would say both sides should be exactly the same in size and shape.
we are just the internets though, go and get a professional opinion. don't tell them where it was originally done as they may know them if it's local and feed you a load of bullshit.

Linework isnt amazing, but with some clever fills and shades by a decent artist i think it'll look alright.
Someone fucked the linework up on my back, had to have it gone over again and looks better now.
Everything is saveable by someone good.

at first glance it does look ok, but then you find small things wrong and it begins to look silly.
he is a unit though so i will just agree with anything mr weatherton says.

The small things you can put up with imo. It's the fact it is clearly not symetrical which would enfuriate me.
Should have choked the tattooist to death with your biceps.

In reality nobody's gonna be eyeballing it and seeing the problems at first glance, however I'm still not sure how it's a cover up, not surprised you're dubious

Are you going for a list of the most cliched tattoo style's of the last decade? lol there's a bit of everything there
first glance it looks ok and seen as only your boyfriend will see it when he pumping you i'd stop worrying

Any tattoo's are common as much these days tbh. You're cooler if you don't have a tattoo. I'd probs give mine a miss if I could go back.
