Bail of hay in the back would be a bit of a fire hazard
Drop the spare wheels out, chuck the hay in, be reet. If it catches fire, just go faster.

Whats wrong with privacy glass? Its usefull and looks better than not having it on 99% of cars (Excluding convertibles)
SUV's in particular look 100x nicer if tinted at the rear. Most cars these days come with it std/optional from the factory, its not a bizarre choice?!

My dad used to have an ML for a few months...said it was "shit" broke down a few times, interior and ride wasn't as good as an X5...so now has a new 3L twin turbo diesel X5 which does 35MPG on a run...not bad for something that has 300bhp and weighs over 2 tons.

Yeah the pre-2006 models are built pretty badly! The 2.7 diesel engine and gearbox are bullet proof though, plus it easilly gets 30mpg and i was seeing closer to 40mpg on long journeys.. The interior however is pretty poor! I bought it as a weekend load-lugger.. What else can you get that big that seats 7 people, can pull a train and returns over 30mpg for less than £5k?
They do an ML250 now which is incredibley economical for its size, booked at 47mpg average!!

Think this was a post 2006 one, new at the time but was still a disaster. It was a 3.2L diesel iirc.

I don't understand that tbh, Mum's 01' SLK is built like a brick shit house, as was the 54 A class and the 98 A class before.

They are solid motors mr Pow, its just the finish is a bit crap: Panel gaps, cheap plastic, poor switch gear, rattles etc. etc.
Not the sort of thing you would expect from a relatively expensive car!

I don't mind the blue, not so keen on the wooden dash but that's easily sorted. It was more the toys included for me and relatively low mileage

Landrovers and Range Rovers look right with wood inserts. I wouldn't bother changing them, looks fine. Where are the screens?

They head-phones are just for the audio jacks in the rear.. On top of the door cards there are little head-phone sockets and volume/track controls.

I got the impression it was a flip down screen from the roof panel/box

Actually didn't spot that, flip down thing isn't standard although I wouldn't let that choose the car, depends if you're delivering kids

She hasn't seen this, its particularly for me-entertainment whilst she does all the driving!! Her Mum has a place in France and my Sister lives in the Alps, so it could see some long journeys-with that TV, I wouldn't actually have to speak to her lol
