it is a coupe mate I put a pic on page 1.
Running costs I'm fairly used too the Mazda is not a cheap car to own due to how rare they are, no 2nd hand Market and everything new is main dealer only.

He has Pilot Cup Sports on them, said it was just over a grand for all 4 :-/ glad I know people in the tyre trade! But I paid £155 for track tyres on my Mazda, so I'm fully prepared to pay more for better stuff. Grip is pretty crucial!
The AP's run Pagid RS29's, which are just over £200 :-)
Might put some clear Lamin X on them just incase, that's savage!

The reported weakness on the M3's is brakes so that's really good it has the Ap's as from memory they are really really expensive!
Tyres for stock ones was £900 for 4 for the conti M3's I had on mine. Pilot sports are obv the tits though so if you get discount get them on there

He said they cost him just over £3k for all round AP's
Blimey I've no idea what's good for road tyres now as on the MPS I always stuck with Paradas but as I'm now used to the AD08's on track the Paradas seem wank! And not something I'd put on an M3. The normal Michelin Pilot Sports are meant to be good

Ooo I didn't know that Tom. I was happy with the conti's and never saw the need to change.

it was like a different car, everytime i pulled out on a hill in wet or dry it spun up
when it didnt with contis, stopping and cornering in the rain were also dramatically affected

What Contis are you talking about mate? (I'm presuming there are different types!?)
I am going to need to get some road tyres as I can't drive around on Cups which are only really good when warm, which won't happen on the road especially when I'm basically learning to drive again

continental sport contact M3
Continental have produced a specific tyre designed for the M3. This Tyre uses an optimum rubber compound for the drive characteristics of the BMW M3

They're more! Going by Camskill prices anyway, I should hopefully be able to get them a bit cheaper. Only painful part about getting this car is that I am really not wanting to run Cups on it, so I want to put a set of road tyres on the CH's so that's another £600+ easily

Looking at paying about £1600 or so to last me to the end of my policy in May. Bit hard to put an exact price on it as I am swapping the cars on my policy & paying a bit more plus already used 3 months worth of insurance on the Mazda. But that's a rough price. Basically it's not cheap, but next year my crash comes off my insurance so going on rough quotes online goes down about £700.
