can't see a BMW being that much more expensive to insure than a TT

225's are group 18 in old money terms - appreciate the group is not the direct impact of insurance costs

Yes, it was 1150, tt 225 coupe was 850 and rs was 802.

I've had my 225 for a year now and love it. Deffo recommend them.

Get the odd comment about hairdressers cars etc but who give a shit!?

As said with a £300 remap and DV etc they go from 225 to as much as 260.

Would the quattro not be better in winter though? Had a huge problem getting the puma up my road as its a big hill so thought even fake 4wd is better.than fwd

A v6 with DSG is the way forwards, my neighbour had one and after going out in it really changed my opinion of TT's

And Quattro in the winter is only as good as the tyres you use.

on 18" wheels on summer tyres id be supprised if it makes it as far as the puma, its not a Subaru forester, it has hevily biased towards FWD setup

also over 200kg lighter without haldex system - if you can get FWD 180 - very rare
