Exactly this. Some people are just in the right place at the right time, nothing to do with intelligence half the time.

Jen earns over twice what I do now. Doesn't bother me one bit. It's what we bring in as a couple that matters not who earns what. She's always earnt more than me.
We had both done equally well in our chosen careers but the hotel industry pay was crap. Since I left I've taken a substantial pay cut So I've gone from crap pay to utter shit pay but I'm in a job with great hours and job satisfaction so it more than makes up for it.
To answer the question though, I suppose I am bothered because if Jen didn't earn what she did I wouldn't have been able to get out of hotels and afford to take a pay cut, so things would be different, but it's about living within your means, and we'd do that whatever we both earnt.

My missus knows what I earn to the penny as she does the payroll for the entire company
I still earn more than she does
Also what is with the money, house, car threads? Has CorsaSport suddenly became InsecureSport.

Not really bothered. I don't go out with lasses based on how much money they do or don't earn.
As long as you are both happy what does it matter if one of you is loaded and the other skint!

I earn 5 or 6 times more than my missus which I think takes the piss as she's got a degree and I dont! It doesn't bother me which way round it is though, at the moment I pay for the majority but I'm sure the time will come when she will. I could just never imagine taking 'petrol money' and asking her to pay for lunch when I've got the disposable income and she doesn't.

She earns alot less than me but is very good at managing it so used to have more disposable than I did.
She's the one that motivated me to sort myself out, hence the Mini going, and I'm alot happier for it

Same as mine. They made them stay late one week to clean and' payment' was pizzas, I was annoyed when I found out cause I would have dragged her away. Her company would try and get away worth murder if they could, right take the piss. If there's lack of staff she has to stay an extra hour and get it in lieu, but when she wants to take it they barely ever give it to her. She just doesn't want to kick up a fuss cause of the way jobs are harder to get now etc

So does my mrs. Just hard to find jobs in Events it seems so shes got a job as a teaching assistant for now.
Just earns marginally more than your mrs but it dosent bother me at all.
the only thing that would bother me is if she had no aspiration to do do any more.
Mate of mine is on a good whack but his mrs isnt, at all. But she dosent aspire to do anything with herself. That would really annoy me
