I used to use only one pump in my local shell garage "pump 1". If in the dead of night and that was the only pump in use I would still queue for it. That went on for about three years. Everyone took the piss etc.
It's now called pump 4 too

the thread isn't about ocd or ''conditions'' though. it's about weird things people do.
having the volume on a set number isn't normal. if it was, tv manufacturers wouldn't allow the tv to be at uneven number volume etc.

anyway, a bloke in work goes home every night/morning, even after night shift and polishes his laminate/tile floors.
he does this twice a day, without fail.

Glad I don't pay his leccy bill.
Same reason a bit of background noise is better than none, there are some psychological reasons why its better to sleep with noise than not.
And I'd bet it doesn't sound the same when recorded.

Car volume has to be on 10, 15, 20 couldn't have it on 12 or 14.
Line remotes up, side by side.
Things in the fridge/cupboards all labels to the front.
Multipack crisps, remove from bag and place in basket in cupboard organised via flavour.
Remove change from pocket, stack all coins of same value heads facing up and in size order with my wallet inline with edge of bed side table.
Where possible things need to be symmetrical, like rear lights on cars, reverse lights on both sides (e.g. I had to change TT to an EU rear.)
Does my missus head in I also have to leave my desk at work in a certain way before I can leave.

Well he drives a Gallardo so don't think he cares. I can't have ANY noise or light when I'm sleeping! I cover my LED clock with teddy and have to get up and unplug the Plasma on the wall because it's got a bright blue ring on standby

this may sound gay but i can never have the window open at night when i sleep.
goes back to when i was a kid and thought aliens were coming into my bedroom window.
i'd say that was pretty weird.

Must say this fan thing is quite common! I know people who need the radio on etc but a fan must be cold in the winter no?

I'm a little bit tidy and a touch OCD like this, silly things like even volume (or multiples of 5), my computer folders/email accounts/filing/iPod/Phone contacts are all perfectly arranged.
Things have to be lined up, phone has to be put on charge every night.

I'll always remember my school mate being weird as fuck.
when i'd go round his, we would play ps2 and he would wipe my controller with a wet wipe whenever i put it down...or anything i touched. if i moved his dvd's he would clean the cover and door handle as i left. he had a shed padlock on his door so his little brothers didn't go in his "clean" room.
as we got older, i stopped over after a nightout. he covered my phone in insulation tape over the flashing light on top so he could sleep. he also painted the window above his bedroom door facing the landing gloss black so no light shon through.
one other thing. he had that problem like on superbad, constantly drawing penis's on any piece of paper, his gcse p.e folder was covered

I do the having to have a pint of water by my bed even though I rarely drink it.
Volume doesn't bother me so much, as long as its not 13.
I like my cd's to be on the shelf in alphabetical order, despite the fact I don't think my DVDs or games are
