Aruba blue is lovely. Unless I'm swayed by a Volvo or something then it will be an Arube Blue Avant Black Edition.

Try http://www.orangewheels.co.uk/

My Dad got his last Audi through them and I was looking to get another off them before I got the Mini but the waiting list for A3's was silly.

They put you in touch with an Audi dealer who you then deal with from that point on and the car gets delivered to you on a low loader if you don't live near the dealer.

Booked an extended (3 hour) test drive in a Volvo V60 D3 R-design for Friday. See if its a contender against the A4 Avant or not.

Had a close look today and they are a very tidy beast.

Quite chuffed they took me seriously tbh as we rocked up spur of the moment so I was in jeans, scruffy trainers and an Arsenal shirt!

Like the Merc C-Class. But if the 125 part refers to the power then it will be slow.

How was the Volvo? Quite like the latest style Volvos.

im liking the mercs

Best thing to do is drive them

If you do serious miles you want something that is nice to drive

The volvo may look nice but they are not nice to drive

also colour shouldnt be an issue as most value would be lost due to your milage - also buy something in the colour you like not what you think other people will like when you trade it in

That merc looks nice and they drive well

have you driven the 125 - its not that slow because of how its delivers the power

also these days in rush hour you can never use the power anyway

I was wondering if the 125 referred to the power output?

My current Audi is 143bhp and is fine. Shit loads of torque makes up for it.

Audi has 35k miles on it now and its not 2 years old until June. Its not moon miles but its quite high??!

Was planning on keeping it until September but may see if the missus will let me swap it sooner. Needs new back tyres soon and thats best part of £400 fitted. Seems silly when i'll be getting rid in September.

The V60 test drive has been postponed until monday because someone pranged the car I was due to have. Its going to have to blow me away because I prefer the looks of the Audi & Merc now. Can't see it happening tbh.

Still feel too young for a Merc lol. Its a nice beast tho and the interior looks lovely. Going to pop into our local Merc dealership this aft and have a close look at one. See if I can blag an extended text drive. 30 mins isn't going to sell a car to me.

I'll definatley buy a colour I like and not worry about resale. Fuck it!

the mercs interior are not as good as the audi

they do drive ok - the power output is kW so I think they are 170 BHP

They are not as good on fuel as the BMW's though

Out of date? 2005-2007!

I know the CDI200 produces 136bhp, CDI220 produces 170bhp, and the CDI250 205bhp.

125kw is 170bhp so guessing the 125 Edition is 170bhp?

Cool. Thats not a prob.

Looks a good package then the 125 edition.

170bhp is more than enough for me for my daily.

yeah - think driving any car doing high miles is the key

I have driven one and liked it very much - prefer the BMW but obviously with the new shape out but not in estate format yet its a no go

Just been to Merc. It was busy so had no test drive but they are going to call me.

Love it tho.

Its winning.

Pretty much ruled out the Volvo, although i'm due to be test driving one on monday.
