Depends on what else is going on. Usually just pass in whichever lane is clear.
People joining and expecting you to move over annoys me more, particularly if I'm towing.

It does make me laugh when people are sat in the middle/outside lane when the inside lane is clear then they start going mad flashing etc when you sail past at 70mph undertaking them all

They always seem to move over when I'm on my bike but in the van under/overtake then cut across

What's worse than middle lane hoggers is do-gooders who decide its there job to enforce the highway code tbh.
Flashing someone etc is not different to the pricks who flash you for no reason when you overtake them.
This
Got better things to be doing with my time than wasting it trying to a get a message across to someone that I don't know who isn't going to do anything differently.

I don't let it bother me as I live in a world of hatred and unfairness where this sort of thing is the least of our problems.

It really pisses me off. I hate people who cannot drive properly and courteously on the motorway.
Just undertake them and then gesture that the first lane is free.

The worst one for me is the ones that pull out to overtake but do not speed up, do they think that the middle lane will speed them up

Say you weren't towing, what are the guidelines around this?
I don't mind joining in the BMW as it's got the power to get infront of people who don't pull over but when in the Clio it pisses me right off when people don't pull over when the next lane along is clear, even if its just out of courtesy.

if the round about is empty might as well take a "racing line"

Car joining should give way. Just like joining any road

I disagree.
Joing a fast moving motorway is particularly difficult as with the angle of some sliproads.
There will be a sign on the Mway before the slip road warning you of a slip road. I always begin to move over thus letting the traffic safely join the motorway without causing traffic or dangerous situations.
I find it very selfish when people wont move over, causing the nervous woman trying to look over her shoulder and drive straight at 60 has to slow down then enter a 70mph road doing 30.
Its just a receipe for disaster. Move over.

If I'm in the inside lane and somebody is sitting in the middle, I just stay where I am and cruise past them. Can't be bothered moving all the way over just for some idiot who can't drive.

Here here.
Just get on with it and overtake like a normal human being without being a tosser.

i usually just stay in the ''slow'' lane and undertake them.
like fuck am i going to cross over to the outside lane and then all the way back in because of some inconsiderate arsehole.
people who make a big deal out of it, either the undertaker or the lane hogger are the worst ones. just ignore them.

this gets me the most, it always happens at a local shopping centre where the roads have lots of small roundabouts and i have been cut off by lazy people driving straight over quite a few times.
when i use my horn, they go mad and haven't a clue what they've done wrong.
even when the roads empty i stay in lane, it's not difficult.

i've calmed down now, driving in a 1.25 for so long, you just learn to give up and become part of the slow cruiser crew.
i wouldn't like to start foaming at the mouth calling people wankers in a car that stands out like a mini with red stripes.
luckily it seems every other person has bought a white fiesta so no one recognises me
