I don't understand this. Does stance just mean a ridiculous amount of camber?

I'd say stanced is more about the whole set up of the car, i.e. getting the wheels to sit nicely with the arches. Just getting wide wheels decking it and cambering them doesn't mean it's stanced, there's a lot more goes into it. Working out ET's for tuck, poke, flush etc whether you're staggering the front and rear.

But fitting wide wheels to a corsa and being able to get it low would require working out the ET's and tyre sizes etc. Fitting wide wheels with an ET of less than 49 you are going to run into rubbing issue's if you want to go low. So doing what you have said has more than likely came into it some way or other. Else the car more than likely wouldn't be driveable.

Stanced is an Americanism for means.g your car sits nice. Really its a load of bollocks so that people can turn their nose up whilesitting smugly behind a keyboard giving those important opinions as to whether its 'stanced'or not.
