A lot of fakes are made in the same factory(albeit some using cheaper materials).

Of course they're not.
Do you really think a factory in China would risk loosing a huge international brand name client by producing copies of their product and selling them to third parties?

In a lot of factories, the employees do their own production runs on the sly, using material that's failed quality control etc, then use the proper machines to stamp it up etc.
Mainly electronics I've read about it happening with, specifically flash memory.
Fake raybans come from some 3 year old being forced to work for 3 grains of rice a day though.

Corsasport says it doesn't happen so it can't be true. Wikipedia says otherwise.
EDIT: Ironic you use the word 'deluded'.

Wiki:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Counterfeit
" Some counterfeits are produced in the same factory that produces the original, authentic product, using inferior materials. "
http://www.mysinchew.com/node/65554
"Top-grade fakes are made in the same factory as the originals."
You'll also find nearly all fake Dre Beats are made in the same factory.

So... I'm guessing that quoting that site was a form of sarcasm!?
Also, regarding the Beats, how would you know?
And since you know, would the owner of the brand not know?
And since the owner of the brand knows, would he not put an end to it?

Also, seeing as there is no source for that paragraph your quote is from, I'll deem it null and void as an argument.

I've got real beats and seen loads of fakes, they're not identical. The fakes are good but definitely not made the same, and the sound quality is awful.
As far as the ray bans, the hinges on fake aviators are never the same as real ones

Can't speak for the Studio's but my fake Tours are louder than my real ones with no noticeable difference in quality. Granted the build isn't quite as good.

What is this eye protection everyone seems so keen on and why do I need it? I very rarely wear sunglasses (other than for fishing and perving on the beach)
Will my eyes be damaged or is it abit of a con

Not as stupid as it sounds Lee, I suffered corneal burns/reflective blindness/photokeratitis even though I was wearing sunglasses, they were cheap(ish) and not suitable for teaching all day on the water. Took about 2-3 days to come back and a good week before it cleared up completely

Where did you get the beats from? I want some fake ones just to see how good they are.
