You could definitely retire off of it. I wouldn't though. Too much spare time usually results in me spending money!

My post makes no sense because you'd need to do some business type things which technically is a job.

I meant you could end up in a position whereby you didn't actually do much work, but there was money coming it.

Things like rental income being the best example. If it got very big you could employ someone to manage them for you as well.
