Not really as they will have a far stretch so will still have some 'girth'.

I am going to try a wider tyre anyway, wont know till coilovers are on, wheels on and arches rolled.

When i ran 225's all round the car was much more nimble and changed direction quicker.

Staggered and it tramlines like a barstard.

What are the supposed benefit of a staggered set up anyway?

The 320, 325's dont have staggered do they?

My Neighbours 2.5 Z4 doesnt.

Probably staggered to give a wider wheel and more grip, and bigger dished rims look so much better

I thought all the sports came with the same wheels but i maybe wrong with that.

There are x 2 2004 faceflit 330ci's on ebay at the moment for £4500

One is a high mile clubsport and one is a 67k (i think example)

The low mileage one is ridiculously cheap but does not state it is CAT D etc.

My Clubsport is going on the market soon, 90,900 miles, there's some tat on eBay though, unlike mine.

MV2's are top of my BMW wheel hate list. Seeing every E36 with them has made me hate them.

Was thinking in my head it would be like a 350z that I had a bit of time driving, That stepped out really easily with the lazy V6 and the tc off! Ultimate driving machine, load of pish

Well picked up the refurbed Style 32's from the wheel place and put a couple of coats of poorboys wheel sealant on them.

Up to the garage to have the tyres fitted. I decided to go with the tried and tested 215/40 on the front and gave a 225/40 a shot on the rear.

Couple of fails though :

1) The tyre fitter managed to take two chunks out of one of the rims. Said he would pay for it but its more hassle for me having to go back and get it redone

2) Currently one of the rears is just catching in the arch on the drivers side but is ok on the passenger side.

I had the arches rolled a few weeks ago by Arch Enemy. All I can think of is that when the coilovers were fitted and ride height was set, they might have set on side just a few mm lower than the other and hence why it is catching on only one side.

Plan Tommorow is to raise the ride height a little bit and see how it is. I have a set of 215/40's that I could use but wanted a staggered set up. Alternatively I could source a 225/35 which might have more clearance?

I was going to get a teaser shot but still had 30mm arch gap on the front as it would not go any lower on the MV2's on the front so it looked gay when the Style 32 went on.

See what happens tommorow and will try get pics up. Did look pretty impressive

Is the fuel cap on the passenger side? As it will stick out a bit more if so hence not rubbing

If not then I haven't got a clue
