Well, they must be doing it to get their quota for employing disabled people covered. He can't not have a blue badge with those spindly legs.

I think I'd rather listen to static

Don't try and pretend you listen to radio 1, we all know you're a radio 4 / classic fm kinda guy

If you want to listen to people talking it might as well be Radio 4, then you'll at least get some intelligent thought.

Conversation on Radio 1 pushes useful stuff out of your brain.

You're a Radio 4 listener aren't you John. You're the type...I can just tell. Jump back into the real world until September while you can.

I agree that majority of Radio 1 is shite but i enjoy(ed) the Chris Moyles show for what it is/was ie: banter.
Radio 4 is pretty decent for it's comedy shows but it's isn't half dull otherwise. Similarly Radio 2 has it's moments but Chris Evans is a bit shite as a breakfast host; Wogan was a lot lot better.

Either way, Radio 1 have seriously failed getting Grimmeh' in

There is definitely some complete drivel on Radio 4 also.

All morning radio seems to be completely idiotic, also surprisingly filled with sexual innuendo

I use the radio for news/traffic/weather in the mornings so the Glaswegian radio station does the job, especially as it's for less than half an hour.

On the way back I stick on a cassette and rock out to Meatloaf.
