I was just after anything at all to get me around in while the Corsa is of the road so I don't care if its shit Strangely I kind of like it anyway Very comfy and isn't hard on the juice either. Obviously for £500 it has its problems but nothing that can't be sorted

Cheers Danny, feels good to be a Rover owner

Yea its the 1.8 petrol. Think its the worst engine you can get it in

I'd rather that than the Xantia. It isn't even bad really, just not a young lads car. Just needs those rubbers replacing and a spare head gasket buying in

19 , for what I was looking to spend though the only other options were clapped out Fiestas and Corsas and the likes. Seems like a no brainer to take the luxury car Was a £20K car its day

Just signed up to the MG-Rover forum too , need to get an AA badge for my grill next.

Got a quote for £1400 last night online. Hoping to get a better quote though, going to ring round tomorrow and then go cruising round the town like a boss. Going to fit a cheery bomb exhaust to it

I'd love too, might get the angle grinder out tomorrow and cut them in half.

It's not, the photos do it a world of good tbh. Passenger side looks like its been keyed on the rear door and quarter panel. I wet sanded most of it out today and its barely noticeable now Drivers side rear door has some damage and the rear quarter has a bit of lacquer peel.

I'm not fussed though, will bring it down to work one weekend and paint it.

Just bought my first mod Can't wait to fit it and go for a drive, matches the dash too.

Also bought 1 of them OBD2 fault code scanner things to see why the EML is on. Now owes me £550

Took the scratch out today that was down the passenger side, had to take it down to bare metal it was that deep so sprayed some yellow paint on to stop it rusting for now.

Damage on drivers side, hopefully get it filled tomorrow if the weather holds out

Hopefully get it into work during the weekend and get it painted then. Was just supposed to be a run around

Beast of a shed

I was thinking a while ago that it would be a laugh to buy one of the proper old school original Rover 200s and slam it and whack an exhaust on

I'd love to modify it but I can't spend money on this and the Corsa, and at the end of the day it will still be a Rover with a shitty 1.8 engine

Will tidy up the bodywork and just run it into the ground, hopefully I don't get carried away with it need some better wheels though.
