Couldnt tell you what tikis are but im sure you can? Theyve got nothing to do with the artifacts found in mexico though.

They are faces drawn by polynesian tripes for centuries.

My point is, that all ancient (and modern for that matter) civilizations have made abstract figures from pure fantasy, but the Mayans are surrounded by so much mystery that people tend to over-analyze anything to do with them.

The Indians have been drawing poly-armed, elephant-headed deities for centuries, that doesn't meen they've existed.
