Massive amounts of hipocrite in this thread. Own dog bits you...that's OK. Someone elses dog bites you... its not ok.
What's the difference? Oh yeah, you can claim for the latter.

my mums seen it before when she was in charge of hiring/firing for the factory at her old job, doleys who would have to get jobs because their benefits had stopped who would get back injuries on the morning of their first shift.

I didn't have to get a job! I should have been given training and warned that the dog was dangerous! I wasn't the first person the dog had gone for! An now the dog has been moved on to another kennel for it to happen again!

on a serious note, are you claiming for the injury/time off?
not bothered if you are, just being nosey.
Yes I am an I'm not bothered what people think, physio has told me I still can't drive which has totally fucked with our life, my fella works nights, doesn't finish work till 4.30am an then has to take the kids to school at 8am, I should be at a rally right now with my dogs but that's out of the question for this season, I haven't been able to train them since it happened so they are loosing out too, it's not as simple as I got bit, it's the things that go on afterwards
I know a guy who drives with one arm, crazy times.
Do your kids attend school a long way away?

Walking 3 miles to school even if it wasn't raining wouldn't be right, they would be Knackered the rest of the day an get no work done
