Just been on a little road trip to see Archie and pick up the manifold and exhaust, got some dei heatwarp coming for it though so I'll post pictures once it's wrapped.
Thought I'd start cleaning up the injectors and rail earlier, injectors were pretty manky actually. Full of rust and flaky paint so used the machine buffer and made them all shiny along with the little clips. Prepped the rail ready for black paint too. Another not so exciting update but there you go I like cleaning stuff. The engine will be looking clean when it goes back in anyway.

A few new pics of where I'm up to...
New thermostat, inlet/exhaust bolts, fuel rail all cleaned and painted, cleaned injectors etc and all built up, new alternator, breather pipe, rocker cover painted up blah blah. Getting there slowly, timing belt and tensioner set needed then I can get the belt cover on. New clutch, box on and away we go

They are trade only pal, I could get one on my account and post it to you if you want? just cover the cost of everything, not looking to make any money out of it.

Cheers Danny
This week I'll be starting to prep the bay for dropping the engine in, just bought these;
If it was staying as an XE then I problably wouldn't bother but as longer term plans are a LET then I'll just do it now whilst I have the chance. Might get my mate to stitch weld the bay too whilst he's in there.

On the tin as 'silver alloy wheel' paint from a local factors, a bit shinier than i'd like really but atleast it will still look cleanish even when dirty.
