Seriously though this has gone too far and I've already ruined one thread. James was just excited to show off his car and I should have just it looked 'a bit dull' and left it there.

Of course the weather and the fact the car is dirty is bad for photos, as is the iPhones camera in low light photos.
Theres a way of commenting on something like that, if you need a proper example look at Benj's post in my thread. He asked if it looks dull. Didnt go all Internet and accuse it of looking 15years old, sorry if I took offense to this but I am proud, and you are welcome to think the colour looks crap or the cars an old heap. But dont go saying somethings terrible when its clearly not. (Look at the reflections in the photos)
I removed the thread as it was pointless. Alan decided to try and be a hero and dig out some expert evidence of a car taken in the sun and o doubt enhanced post photo to try and prove his "point" then has since been trying his best to troll. The thread was off course, the photos where a duplicate of my project thread so I deleted it. No toys, no prams just pointless thread. No drama.
Also, the colour is very odd. From some angles it looks pink, from others it looks burgundy. Its not pillar box red and I don't want it to be.
Im not falling out with anyone, just appreciate a more respectful response is all.....
Maybe I am just getting old. Speaking of which, I am entirely bored with this saga so can we all move on please?

Regarding the "flame pink" comments, that's the very nature of Imola. It's almost magenta in certain light and it's part of what makes the paint so alive when seen in the flesh, especially in sunlight.

Paint appears incredibly deep in the sunlight, but at 1:20 there's a pic where it looks orangey and faded. I've seen lots of Imola Red cars IRL (in cloudy weather too) and never seen that orangey version of it. It's just something that happens in photos.

They didnt huff with you, you just got to accept that the internet will have opinions, good or bad on what you do...
