About 25 miles for my first job but it was country lanes and I started at 2pm so it was a nice drive. Second job was 15 miles of just motorway but that was at 6am so it only took around 20mins. Job I'm at now is 6 miles and it in the city centre and I start at 9 so it takes around half an hour.

I do 18 each way at the moment but with extra work I'm doing over 100 a day at the moment.

Average day is 1:15 in the car, more like 2:30 at the moment though. 90% town driving, all of it.

Looking at a job in September doing 36 miles, all town, hour 15 each way

I couldn't handle that amount of town driving per day and if I had to i'd be looking for an auto

12 miles , normally takes 20mins on empty roads but it can take up to an hour in rush hour. I sometimes get the train instead.

6 minute drive.
10 minute bus ride.
10 minute bike ride.

Wife has the car most days so I'm on the bus or bike (if weather allows it).

Offices will be moving in a couple of weeks though, which means:
15 minute drive
40 minute bus ride
25 minute bike ride

I'm 16.5 miles each way. Takes between 30 - 45minutes. Traffic is a nightmare.

Moving house next month though so it'll be up to about 18 miles each way

Dependent on the route I take its either 44 or 50 miles each.

Leave home between 7.15 and 7.30 and start at 9. Leave at 5 and get to the gym any time from 6 to 7. Its not odd for me to not get to the gym until 8 once or twice a month because of the A12.

To be honest its getting harder, done it for nearly 4 years and i'm starting to really find its draining me. Although new boss has realized this so at the moment i'm on probationary work from home fridays, with the intention that if its suitable to work from home a few days each week.

lol, na. I'm Royal Signals and posted down in Blandford Forum (Dorset). Live in the block here but the drive home when on leave is a fooking mission! 5 hours with clear traffic (rare on a friday avvy) Normally home every 4-6 weeks atm.

So technically i walk out the front door and i'm at work
