6yrs 70,000miles and I still haven't tried. Will get up to 130mph quite effortlessly and I usually get scared and back off.

110 downhill in my 1.2 16v and the same in my 1.4 16v, but if the speedo is 10% wrong then it's more like 99. Private road obv

Screw doing anything over 110 in a corsa. I didn't feel safe at speed at all in mine.

Had an XE with an F20 bouncing off the limiter off the clock on 195/45/15s, I'm sure I've seen something on here that it's 137mph or there abouts

Im not proud that ive done stupid speeds on the roads before but i was alot younger when i had my old corsa let. But 135mph didnt feel at all unsafe. Would have done more if my gearbox was an f28. And if you go out in the middle of the night no ones about and on the right roads its not unsafe. But your right these days its not possible to even brake the speed limits safely with the amount of idiots who dont use there wing mirrors/indicators or common sense.

160 speedo indicated in the focus st. speedo was about 10mph out at that speed, according to the tom tom. pretty much maxxed out.

Had my XE Corsa on the limiter in 5th. F20 box with 195/40/16's so whatever speed that is?

Had my S3 showing an indicated 145 iirc but decided to slow down.

Don't think I've driven over 110 in the last 5 years, must be getting old
