we had a rule for a while that you were allowed to have a beard.

but you werent allowed stubble... One guy took a week off work as he wanted to grow a beard and needed to get past the stubble stage

Tesco tried to suspend me for refusing to shave, I only have stubble but I was adamant it wasnt going, they put me on a disciplinary so I took it up with the union who laughed at it and told the manager not to be so ridiculous, it never went any further than that.

I have stubble and in a client/prospect facing role. I would like to think I have never lost a deal because of my facial hair.

Thinking of just trim it shorter and see what thats like.
