You were extremely nonchalant, fair play to you
Did you come away with just cuts and bruises?
My shoulders are a bit stiff, I think just from hanging upside down on my harnesses for 10 mins, but other than that, there isn't a mark on me.

Think it's just the knowledge that if something is going to happen, a load of safety features will be there. Cage, cut off, harness etc

Do u have the car insured for track use or anything AK? Cos it obviously had a lot of money spent on it didn't know if insurance was possible.
Like Some of the time attack cars must have loads of £££ in them so if they are crashed, does someone loose everything as such. Hope that makes sense.
I never have van insured on track but I just assume that I won't crash and if I did I could re shell cheaply.but cars like your are not so simple.

It is insured via competition car insurance, but not really sure how the cover goes when on track.... prob more a theft insurance.
I supposed that is something worth checking out as its agreed value is 25k or so

it was a very tidy show car before we too ownership full ICE /boot install etc
I bought the car when I was in malaysia.... unseen, off ebay. Took delivery of it from Shetland. It was stolen, it was on fire, it won time attack, its won saloon races, its been through 3 tyre walls and its been on its roof.
Its had a good innings for a 23yr old car

When you read that, you can't really fault the car after all it's been through
