Best thing was the AC-45. I'm a top gear fan, I don't bemoan it usually but it seemed like they'd run out of ideas and were rehashing old ones like the Star in a Reasonably Priced Car which was exactly the same as when they first used the Kia Cee'd. The race could have been much better too if they didn't have the dicking about with the rental cars stuff.

My thoughts also. I don't mind that idea so much as it seems a decent way to get a few times up there to start with instead of just having the one person up there on their own. Gives it a good kick start. However, he tried to use the awful joke again of suggesting that ST refers to sanitary towels, which he also used when they Focus ST came out. It was a poor line then and hasn't gotten any better. I've never been walking round Tesco and overheard women saying "must pick up some STs"...

Other than that I rather enjoyed it.

As for the hatchback test, the Fiesta looked the best but I wouldn't own one because it's a Ford. Also wouldn't have the Clio because it is properly ugly, same goes for the 208. Also if the previous Clio's interior is anything to go by, then it will be horrible and cheap plastics all round apart from nice seats.

The blue one was clean and damage free after he'd crashed it into the bridge and driven down the dusty road too.
