I think the show has had decent variety this series, the lotus was brilliant as discussed already as they were pretty much just modifying it for performance rather than fixing or tidying a car for resale.

The Caddy was different again because it was a full on show car, £4k on an interior

I think they'll have to step into some big money cars soon, to keep things fresh.

I'd love to see a series of Ed building a kit car from scratch (DIY chassis etc, full works) but unfortunately I think the mainstream Discovery viewers like Mike's bit as much as Ed's - so the current format is unlikely to change.
