The charity were welcome to charge hundreds for the tickets too... Buyers paid face value, the charity has benefitted.
Personally, I just made £320 in under 2 hours. If that makes me a cunt I don't really care. I'm a cunt with an extra £320.
I'm also a cunt who donated to the charity seperately and bought 2 of the stickers from one of the palces where everything above the postage costs goes to the charity.
Done my bit, and earned off of it. Simple.

dont see the problem with running a memorial event. over here in n.ireland all the sites/clubs got together and arranged for their members to go to the same place. turn out was unbelievable.
goes to show how much of an influence F&F has been within the scene.
i think what has added to paul walker is that it wasnt just a acting job, it was a way of life for him as-well, he was a car enthusiast just like you and me.

I know people are earning from charity's. But that's there jobs. To organise and run events that make money for others. These tits are just people in Burberry caps. That bought a few too many tickets to make a quick buck off others misfortune.

I hate burberry, and about as far away from a "chav" as you could possibly imagine. Dont make the mistake of over generalizing.
I'm going to go out on a massive limb here and have a stab at saying, you didnt manage to purchase any tickets when they were on sale?
All the abuse right now is coming from people who oddly have no tickets in their hands...... Strange that. Stay there chap and I'll get you a ladder, you'll need it to get off that high horse.

Didn't manage to purchase any tickets... As I didn't try. And will not be trying.
Wouldn't want to go to be honest. Going to be full of fiberglass and cans of special brew.
And to be fair I havnt given out any abuse.
All I've said is that I think it's wrong to cash in off the back of a charity

Except in this case, the demand is based on a desire to attend the event, which is a charity event.
I'm all for a bit of capitalism, but you can't in this instance separate the fact that if people were willing to go to those prices on the tickets, there's a case for saying that the charity should benefit to that extent.
Incidentally - I think charity is a big con in a lot of cases, particularly when you see the payroll, not talking about Santa Pod staff here who as a one-off are apparently working for free? But regular salaried charity workers who turn up for work day in day out and are paid as such. Meaning that for all the money coming in, there's a wage bill and rent to settle before you even do anything good.
When you do the maths, the perception that you're giving a tenner and a child in Haiti is looking forward to spending your tenner rapidly falls apart.
Even more difficult to get value when you leave the market open for touts to come in and cream off the easy money.
