Obviously not, clues are in the thread. Said I didn't want to really have to put too much on top, which I would to spend £8k, which is why I was looking at VXRs originally which start at around £4k. That's completely out of the window now and looking like I'd need a few thousand on top to get what I'm likely after.

Realistically as is, probably around £5k I'd be after, give or take a couple of hundred. It's a really clean example with all the toys, 22" wheels, good tyres, TV, CD Changer, Sat Nav, Full leather, Xenons, Halos, etc. as well as my tweaks to make it better, new badges, newer X5 wiper, new lights, carbon dash, exhausts, other small changes.

I'm well aware you can get battered high milers starting at £3.5k. Cheap asses are welcome to them

Mine was fully loaded too.. Could barely give the fucking thing away .. thankfully I paid very little for it in the first place!

BTW The TV isn't much a selling feature unless you've upgraded to DVB

And the 2nd hand market is ROYALLY fucked at the moment because the banks and credit-card companies are lending again.

I'm not too worried. If someone wants a used X5 E53, it's in my opinion one of the nicer ones.

If you're a gambling man these are the car for you!

Every time you turn the key is a gamble if the cam-chain will smuggle its self up into the rocker cover while the pistons smash all of the valves into next week

Davey, would it be accurate comment to say that you're always buying/looking at cars at the cheaper end of the scale with problems/rocky histories? It's rare you have a nice thing to say about a car tbh.

I didn't notice that post at first ironically enough I bought a 03 Plate R32 yesterday with 42k on the clock and a FSH.. It has done a cam-chain.. Apparently its VERY common.

Just because you've watched every episode of Top Gear and you're a member of piston heads doesn't mean your opinion is worth a wank.

Love you really x x x
